Kananaskis Trail HWY 40

Highway 40 offers a beautiful scenic drive no matter what season! Half of the road gets closed Dec 1 but if you want to do a little back road (gravel) driving you can continue up highway 742 for more gorgeous scenery and end the trip in Canmore for dinner. There are many places to stop and enjoy the views along the way and even a gas station if needed! My favourite season to drive this road is Fall where the leaves are turning and the mountains have a light dusting of snow. The Cayenne Coupe was the perfect partner for both carving the roads and hitting the backroads! Highly encourage you to try this drive. Drive time is not 3 hours unless you extend the road, I took many stops along the way to capture the beauty of both the car and the drive.
