From Ajaccio to Bonifacio: Tour de Corse, Tour de Force
What's the best thing in a sports car for its passengers on this route? No rear seats! Why? Because everyone would get sick in the rear driving along the splendid coastline from Ajaccio to Bonifacio. For me it's a European version of the northern part of Highway No.1 in California. Lots of scenic views on a curvy road snuggled up to the coastline with the Mediterranean Sea almost always at sight. But take your time! 160 km on roads like this need hours to go. To make things even worse, I included a detour to the prehistoric site of Filitosa, that is well worth visiting. So if you want to go back to Ajaccio again, you better budget an entire day for this trip. You won't regret it!
