From Palma de Mallorca to Valdemossa: DON'T take the Ma-1110 for heaven's sake!

Of course there is a direct way to seeing the beautiful little town of VALEDMOSSA when departing from PALMA. Just take the Ma-1110 and continue on the PM-111. But what for? Doing so will make you cruise on one of the least inspiring tracks on MALLORCA. So skip this route and make your way via PUIGPUGNENT. The trip will take you through beautiful vineyards, guide you over some nice small passes and gives you a good impression of the island in a pretty compact way in general. But as nice as this trip will be, driving anywhere by car on MALLORCA mostly serves another major purpose: Taking you to the starting point of a hiking tour. The island is hiker's paradise. Well then go for the other major sporty thing MALLORCA is reknowned for: It's an absolute challenging terrain for biking.
