Groningen Route
This route is situated in the northern part of the Netherlands. You start in the fishing village of Lauwersoog. Along the way you will pass a number of Frisian villages and the route offers an option for a coffee stop or lunch at 'De Boeter'. You end at 'De Theefabriek' in Houwerzijl, here you can have a look at the only tea museum in the Netherlands or enjoy one of the many teas in the tearoom. The route was created as part of the 2017 Into The Frame project. Owners of a classic Porsche could get a spot in a special book and photo collection. In the spring of 2017, eight different routes could be driven in the Netherlands during eight weekends. At a photogenic point during the route one was photographed by photographer David de Jong. This is how the 'Into the Frame' collection came about, a collection of classic Porsches in the wild.Obviously there are no more cameras along the route and the route is no longer exclusively reserved for classic Porsches. But it remains eight beautiful routes spread across Holland's most photogenic locations. Experience them all eight and use your Porsche for which it is intended: driving!
