Wine and Wild West

A road trip from the Rhineland to the Mosel – and back. Following initially wide and well-constructed country roads, you will enjoy small and winding sections as you head to the Mosel wine-growing area. On your way there, you will pass through the Eifel low mountain range and past the world’s first racetrack – the Nürburgring. The route continues towards Mosel and provides a wonderful view of Eltz Castle. You will drive along the vineyards towards the Rhine and the small tranquil town of Boppard, where you will take a ferry (please make sure to drive onto the ferry carefully). The small forested roads around Koblenz make for challenging driving and also offer variety in terms of the surrounding landscape.

Whoever searched for this route, recorded it and posted it here: He shall be carried on a palanquin through Zuffenhausen, his name reverently pronounced in a whisper and all his paths covered with rose petals. To avoid having the Harley Club "Tote Hosen Oberpfalz", Grandma Hedwig in the Twingo and the team bus of TuS Hundshausen in front of you, we recommend an early start.

Incredibly beautiful route, which the route type Action category definitely does justice to. Beautiful empty remote country roads that bring a smile to the face of even the most demanding drivers. The ferry is very tricky.
