Golden to Boulder Via Colorado Hwy 119 & Nederland

This 55-mile route is a wonderful drive in either or both directions. I don't usually recommend routes that have more than a minimal amount of traffic, but this is one of the rare exceptions. It is VERY twisty, scenic and enjoyable. It is probably best driven very early in the morning before many motorists show up. Passing zones are few and far-between. ... Note that I made a map recording error in Nederland. STAY on CO-119 while driving through this town. ... This awesome route was recorded on Oct. 15, 2017. Most of it is on Colorado Highway 119. A short stretch is on CO-6.
