Rattlesnake Grade

Back country driving with a starter grade as you leave Asotin for Anatone. Then the ride down to the Grand Ronde River and into Oregon and back up the mountainside. You can go on in to Enterprise or Joseph for some food. Keep the speed limit in the towns: small signs but big fines. The route is popular with motorcyclists but has lots of rewards for sports car drivers, too. I ran it at good speed back in the 1970s deadheading a passenger's Sonnett back from putting in on a float trip. Sorry, Porsche, you would have been my choice if I'd gotten to choose.
