Grimselpass
Although the Grimsel Pass probably used to be a mule track, it is still a relatively young, modern pass. The summit lies at 2,165 meters above sea level on the European watershed between the Mediterranean and the North Sea. The pass is closed from October to May, due to the risk of avalanche.
