Nockalm Höhenstrasse

The Nockalm toll road (day ticket: EUR 16.50/car; EUR 9.50/motorbike) leads over the 2,049-meter high Eisental summit between Innerkrems and Reichenau. The crossing is closed in winter from November to April. It is one of the most attractive Alpine roads, due to its extremely beautiful route and charming panorama of the surrounding Nock Mountains, and is also extremely suitable for beginners, with no great degree of difficulty. Nockalm Road was only built in the 1970s, by the way, making it one of the younger Alpine roads.
