Malojapass
Although the Maloja Pass in Graubünden is one of the lesser Alpine passes, at 1,815 meters above sea level, it is still a heavyweight in terms of traffic: since Roman times, it has connected the precipitous Val Bregaglia to the south with the Engadin Valley, whose northern climb ascends rather more modestly to the summit.
