Six Gap N. GA Highlights

Excellent route especially when coming from Atlanta that contains many highlights of the Six Gap of North Georgia.Starting off by taking the northwest exit at the new Stonepile Gap roundabout, you wind through the twisty Woody Gap. Stop at the Chestatee Overlook for some good scenic views. Soon afterwards, a right will take you onto Wolf Pen Gap with some very tight turns as it heads toward Vogel State Park. Take a nice breather on some gentle scenic roads as you head towards Hogpen Gap for an overlook where you can spot the tallest peak in Georgia. Continuing on down will be some wide and fun sweepers with an end point at Dukes Creek Falls Trail. Turn back around and enjoy the same route going back uphill or continue on and find new routes!Always remember to be courteous and share the road with bicyclists.
