Wine and Wild West
A road trip from the Rhineland to the Mosel – and back. Following initially wide and well-constructed country roads, you will enjoy small and winding sections as you head to the Mosel wine-growing area. On your way there, you will pass through the Eifel low mountain range and past the world’s first racetrack – the Nürburgring. The route continues towards Mosel and provides a wonderful view of Eltz Castle. You will drive along the vineyards towards the Rhine and the small tranquil town of Boppard, where you will take a ferry (please make sure to drive onto the ferry carefully). The small forested roads around Koblenz make for challenging driving and also offer variety in terms of the surrounding landscape.
