Vom Luganer See über Bellagio nach Como
We start in Porlezza at the eastern end of Lake Lugano, which belongs to its Italian side. The trip to Menaggio doesn't seem worthwhile - until the panorama suddenly reveals a grandiose view of Lake Como, to which we plunge down the winding road. Perhaps the most beautiful part of the tour is not spent behind the steering wheel, but leaned casually against the railing of the ferry with which we cross from Cadenabbia to Bellagio. The view of the approaching silhouette of that little town, which a monumental casino in Las Vegas has inappropriately stolen its name from, is worth taking the ignition key out of your hand. Especially since Bellagio continues right away. The little road leads up the slope and us into a beautiful landscape. But everything is pushing towards the lake again. And so we land after a short detour into the hills on the shore road that brings us to Como. By the way, we didn't just drive there! Whoever opens there in the morning MUST go into the market hall to stock up on all kinds of treats.
