Scotland coast to coast

To find the best beaches, you can head around the coast or head from coast to coast and take in the beach at Mellon Udrigle. Dunrobin Castle is a stunning point to start off this Scottish Highlands driving route. As you climb across the Highlands, you will experience beautiful scenery and roads as you join the “North Coast 500”, climbing up into the country roads and down a stunning range of mountains such as Sgurr Mor (Fannich). Coming down the mountains into Ullapool (for an amazing fish and chips lunch), you will catch amazing views of the west coast fishing village. After lunch you head off for some afternoon rays at Mellon Udrigle beach before an exciting winding drive down in to the valley of Loch Maree. If you’re looking to go further, getting to a view point in Glen Docherty on the A832 is well recommended.
