Lake Päijänne Scenery Road

Selected to be one of the most beautiful scenery roads in Finland, this road offers great scenery to the hilly countryside of central Finland. You will see some nice forest areas with small villages along the road, as well as fantastic views to the lake Päijänne. You can drive this road from north to the south or vice versa, it is equally enjoyable both ways. At the southern end of the road you drive through Päijänne National Park. Road is quite narrow and curvy at times, surface is mostly in good condition. Please beware motorcycles, as this road is a well-known riding attraction for motorcyclists as well.
