Aspen to Telluride Via Colorado Hwy 133

A drive on Colorado Highway 133 (CO-133) from Carbondale to Hotchkiss by itself is worth coming all the way to Colorado for. The road and scenery are absolutely awesome. From Hotchkiss and Delta to Montrose, the route gets boring, but after Montrose it starts to get more interesting. Ridgeway to Telluride on CO-62 and CO-145 are terrific. ... This entire route is the second in my series of routes going from one Colorado resort town to another. The first one was "Minturn (Near Vail) to Aspen -- Top of the Rockies Jaunt." ...
