Arrowhead/Big Bear lakes route

This Is a nice circuit from the Palm Springs area to drive over a day, can be driven in a leisurely 5-7 hours with a stop for lunch. Lots of curves and switchbacks, gorgeous views and opportunities to let the flat 6 in my 997 Carrera GTS bark. Plenty of places to stop and enjoy the views, with not too much traffic, although my wife and I drove this route in late March, before the summer traffic was present. A spectacular piece of highway, CA 18, leaving San Bernardino for Lake Arrowhead, with some very cool switchbacks and vistas above you on the ascent. Good for the GTS soul!
