Passo Sambuca

Exiting route on a mountain road with scenic view and action driving.The road will take us from the Emilia Romagna region to Tuscany through the Appenino mountains.The road starts from “Abbazia San Giovanni Battista in Valsenio”, that was founded by the Benedictine monks around the year 1000.You will follow the Senio River canyon in the Appenino mountains. You will pass from Romagna to Tuscany with the “Sanbuca Pass” at 1100 meters of altitude. The road passes in front of the ancient "Fonte dell'Alpe" where you can quench your thirst with the fresh spring waters.At the end you will reach the sanctuary of the Madonna dei Tre Fiumi built in 1578.
